LONGINGS

In my heart I have
An insatiable urge.

For a rose
That accompany no thorns.

For a lotus
That springs not from any slush.

For a Sandal
That accompanies no snake.

For a moon
That has no blemish

For a full moon
That never wanes.

For a day
That never ends in darkness.

Fr a river
That leads not to any ocean.

For a sky
That has no horizon.

For a sun
That never sets.

For a life
That has no death.

For a youth
That has no senility.

For a baby
That never perishes.

For a soul
That is not formless.

For a society
That has no classes.

For a nation
That has no boundaries.

I long for all that
For I long to save.

The very identity of things
I often question.

The Almighty, the creator
Why He does not create all that.

And I can say in human pride
Hither fails the All Potent.
